This is the most reliable option. It is the least prone to crashing and going offline. A static website is one that is comprised solely of document files, a little bit like Microsoft Word files, except that they are website files. There is no program to crash, become corrupted, or fail. I have seen static websites that have run without any intervention for 20 years.

There is no program to hack. So it is a smaller target for hackers to corrupt or destroy. There isn't much for the kids to mess around with.

This will contain a food menu which can be as simple or as complex as you need. Any nuances which relate to your specific restaurant offerings will be relayed. We won't be limited to the functionality of the website program as far as menu presentation goes.

Yet this will be a brand new site and will look modern. It will change shape to look good on a cell phone screen. There can be an "Order Now" button if you wish which will travel along the bottom of the screen so that they can press it to call you directly for orders.

So all orders will be taken over the phone if you take orders from outside at all. This reduces some complexity. When you close shop for the night you can just let the phone ring or have it go to voice mail.

I will include a .pdf version of your menu so they can print it on their printers. They can pin it up on their office cubicle or stick it in a drawer with the other menus. You might even use it to print out and then copy to use as your take-out menu. The original practically can't get lost then.

I will edit your Google Business information to include your new website. People can find you in Google and then they can go directly to your menu. Any specifics about your food offerings can then be conveyed regardless of what Google is willing to present.
